Meet the Team
Shannon Webb is a Curriculum Specialist, an eLearning Developer and professor of Communications, Computers, and various GNED classes at Durham College, an eLearning Developer at Centennial College, runs her own eLearning Development business, acts as a TA and RA, as well as a full time student in the Masters of Arts in Digital Education program at UOIT. She is in the beginning stages of her thesis and is also scouting Communications PhD programs.
When Shannon isn't working or completing research, she is volunteering with a number of environmental organizations and animal shelters, hiking with her husband, rowing, writing, traveling, reading and playing catch with her dog or abiding by her cat's rules in the house.

David Swerdfeger is an eLearning Content Developer and part-time instructor of mathematics at Durham College. David is nearing the end of the Masters of Education program at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. He has enjoyed the Masters program so far and has been able to utilize a vast majority of what he has learned in the program in both of his roles at Durham College.
David spends the little time he has that is not dedicated to education and technology with his wife (also an educator). David's recreational activities include playing inline hockey and soccer, as well as reading and general technology tinkering.

Laura Smart is a student within the Masters of Education Program at the University of Toronto Institute of Technology. She is a qualified teacher who teaches from Kindergarten to grade 10. She is a Learning Strategy Specialist and an Assistive Technology Specialist who is currently supplying as a teacher.
When Laura is not at work or doing school work she spends her time with friends and horse back riding.

Farah Shaikh is a second-year Master of Education student at the University of Ontario, Institute of Technology and she is also seeking certification as a Certified Training Practitioner. Farah holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Brock University and a Graduate Certificate in Adult Training and Development from York University. She is interested in the stories people tell to learn what shapes their beliefs, opinions and experiences. Farah is a part-time musician, avid animal lover and full-time mom.
